Eclipse®2 Hydraulic elevator system
Power unit
A compact design makes servicing easy. Design features include having the oil pump and motor immersed in the oil tank reservoir for quiet operation, with the control board wall mounted in a suitable location in the motor room.

The Gen2™ system represents Otis' commitment to environmentally friendly products.
- The coated-steel belts (that require no lubrication) and the gearless machine (which has sealed-for-life bearings that require no oil or grease) mean the hoistway stays clean.
- The synchronous permanent magnet motor, with a radial air gap, consumes less energy that geared or other machine-roomless systems.
- An electromagnetic filter eliminates interference with the building's other electrical system.
- Packaging is constructed of recyclable materials
- The Gen2 manufacturing facility is ISO 14001 – certified for environmental production methods
300VFE – Otis' Geared range of elevator systems
The 300VFE model range of elevators is the result of extensive customer research into the requirements and aspirations of the market, taking into account such considerations as varying traffic patterns, special building requirements and environmental priorities.
The 300VFE elevator has lower starting and running currents, which offer significant energy savings.
Elevonic® 411 gearless elevator system
To promote a cleaner environment, the Elevonic® Class systems use ACVF regenerative equipment whenever possible, to return energy to a building's electrical grid for reuse. They provide a total power factor that is near unity, resulting in the most energy-efficient lifts in existence.
The gearless Elevonic AC machines further conserve power by reducing initial starting currents, improving drive-train efficiencies and eliminating carbon brushes.
The efficiency of the Elevonic Class system's dispatchers also save energy by reducing unnecessary starts and stops, resulting in environmentally friendly lifts.
These efforts reflect Otis' corporate commitment to a cleaner and safer environment.
