Product
The product is manufactured to have a 50+ lifespan if maintained properly, which means there is no energy wasted for early replacement.
Miglas AliClad frame is thermally efficient and low maintenance. There's no need to use toxic paints every two years to maintain the exterior surface and the low conduction timber frame interior lowers the need for heating and cooling. Combined with the high performance double glazing and air tight closure the product is the most balanced performing product in the market and supplies all year round comfort and energy efficiency.

Specification
Miglas products are eco specified and have passed a green star pre-assessment. Including options of FSC timber and recycled aluminium for certain projects. Miglas can achieve a minimum of 12 points in a buildings green star assessment.

Production & Policies
Miglas has an Environmental Policy which reduces the use of paper and energy in office and production areas. Reducing, Reuse and Recycling are part of Miglas' product and culture.
Miglas is the first company in the industry to offer a take back scheme for its products at the end of their lifecycle. Miglas ensures that the customers have the option to bring back their products and recycle them in the most efficient way possible. This conserves energy and raw material resources. Recycling aluminium saves about 70-85% of the energy compared to the virgin material |
