HEAVY-DUTY CYLINDER MORTICE LOCKS
Gainsborough has introduced an exciting new range of architectural heavy-duty mortice locks. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the new Gainsborough 2000 Series (23 mm backset for narrow stile doors) and 3000 Series (60 mm backset) feature the key cylinder below the lever, for greater convenience and ease of operation. Locating the cylinder under the lever (rather than above) provides a more convenient position in which to lock or unlock using the key.

Gainsborough has also created a more proportionate distance between the furniture and the cylinder, adding an element of style to the lock. This distance is the same for both the 2000 series and 3000 series, allowing uniformity throughout the building.
