The Plaspanel manufacturing plant recycles polyethylene (HDPE) plastic scrap from both post-consumer domestic and industrial waste to produce flat sheet plastic panels. With the capacity to process 2,500 tonnes of plastic waste each year, the plant will have a significant positive impact on our environment by substantially reducing the annual tonnage of plastic waste being dumped.
This new innovation in waste management not only features a process that produces panels from plastic waste, but is the ultimate in closed-loop recycling as the actual panels are manufactured can themselves be recycled.
